Talented athletes from Proleter Zrenjanin, Petra Dimitrijević and Ognjen Popov, became the new champions of Serbia at the National Championship for junior athletes in Kraljevo.

Petra was dominant in the 400-meter hurdles race with an excellent result of 1:04.38, which fulfilled the norm for EYOF next year, while Ognjen Popov won gold in the 2000-meter steeplechase discipline. Other athletes from the Zrenjanin club, Teodora Antonić, Valentina Gavrilović, and Ognjen Popov also won bronze medals.

„It was a big success that talented Aleksa Bajin did not compete in Kraljevo due to a broken arm, but I am very satisfied with our results,“ said Mladen Grujić, a coach of Proleter’s athletes.
