Traditionally, the 27th International Vintage Car Meeting will be held this upcoming weekend in Stara Moravica, Subotica, and on Lake Palić.
„Our meeting is themed every year, and this time it is ‘Remembering Ivan Sarić.’ Ivan Sarić’s most famous work is the airplane he constructed himself and flew on October 16, 1910, in Subotica. He made a significant contribution to the development of aviation, but also engaged in sports and driving cars… That’s why the caravan will follow his paths,“ announced Tomislav Vidaković, president of the „Vintage Car“ association.
The first stop for vintage vehicles will be at the „Ivan Sarić“ airport in Bikovo, where the famous constructor’s creations will be showcased.
„Then we will pass through Žednik, Mali Beograd, Karađorđevo, and Bački Sokolac on our way to Stara Moravica, where there will be a vehicle exhibition. Afterward, we will return to Subotica via Pačir and Bajmok, where an exhibition will be held near the Blue Fountain around 6 pm. We will lay a wreath at the Ivan Sarić monument, and the award ceremony will take place in the Grand Hall,“ added Risto Radulović.
On Sunday, starting at 10 am, the vintage car show will take place on Lake Palić.
