Ivan Dmitriev, the director of the Health, Safety, and Environment Function at NIS, was a guest on the „Novosti“ podcast discussing green energy for a sustainable future.
Sustainable development at NIS has been a key theme from the beginning, with the company officially reporting on it for 15 years through transparent sustainability reports that cover statistics, issues, plans, and status. The „Forum 02. Green Energy – for a more sustainable future“ event, organized by „Novosti“ in the Botanical Garden in Belgrade, focused on the use of solar, wind, and water energy in electricity production. Panelists from various sectors exchanged experiences, achievements, and insights on the use of renewable energy sources.
Participants in the panel discussion included Sara Pavkov, State Secretary of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Milan Macura, Special Advisor to the Minister of Mining and Energy, Ivan Dmitriev of NIS, and Professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Miloš Banjac.
