Lebron James, NBA superstar, will carry the flag of the United States at the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris, announced the US Olympic Committee today.
James, 39, will be competing in his fourth games in Paris. He has already won three medals, gold in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, as well as bronze in Athens 2004.
He will be the first basketball player to carry the American flag at the opening of the Olympic Games.
