Apple Corporation could potentially charge users up to $20 for its advanced AI features.

The American technology corporation Apple could charge users up to $20 a month for its latest advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features, known as Apple Intelligence.

A representative of the research agency Counterpoint Research, Neil Shah, stated that investing in artificial intelligence is expensive and that Apple will want to pass on these costs to its users, likely through a subscription model that costs $19.95 per month.

He believes that Apple could charge additional fees for its new AI features between $10 and $20 per month.

CCS Insight’s Chief Research Officer Ben Wood added that Apple is one of the few device-related companies that has been able to monetize products with added value.

According to him, Apple has set a precedent with its users that they must pay more for premium services, so it could now ask for more money for the use of advanced AI features.

Earlier in June, Apple announced at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) that it would be integrating its own artificial intelligence system into its applications and devices, but it did not specify whether there would be additional charges.

During the conference, the Cupertino-based company stated that its voice assistant Siri would be upgraded with the help of AI technology.
